Further information on missing trekker
Little is known about Zhang Wei disssapearence or trek. Missing Trekker was informed on the 18th of October. Zhang Wei’s last known contact with family was on the 29th of September when he contacted his family from Dingbouche.
Unfortuantely there have been several Chinese trekkers in the Solukhumbu region over the past few months who have fallen and needed to be resuced, or have fallen and died. There is limited information on Zhang Wei, however nobody has come forward confirming that he has been located.
