Michael Liu Blomberg, from Sweden, went missing after departing high camp at 4am on the 30th of December. It was expected that he would be going to Mardi Himal Base Camp and then returning. He has was alone, and has not returned.
The trek from high camp to low camp takes about 4 hours. His return should have been 8-10 hours later.
Michael registered with the new Rural Municipality Information center on Friday the 29th.
A search team has been sent out.
A helicopter search was carried out on the 6th of January but did not make any discovery.
